A cyclist's dream!

I arrived in the Netherlands 8 weeks ago today, 13 August. As with any big move, there were stressful moments - finalising the Gemeente registration, opening a bank account, getting a chest X-ray, etc. But these are small things compared to the wonderful experiences I have had in the last few weeks.


Being able to cycle anywhere at any time is probably my favourite thing about living here. A close second is the public transport system that works like clockwork! Whether it's a train, the Metro, tram or bus - it is on time, reliable and safe! My next goal is to travel and explore the Netherlands (on my bike where possible) and the rest of Europe.
