Client Relationship Manager / Account Manager (SME)

As a Client Relationship Manager, you’re the trusted advisor for a diverse portfolio of clients. You translate numbers into meaningful insights, guide entrepreneurs through financial decisions, and ensure they’re always one step ahead. You’re the connecting link between the client and our internal specialists - proactive, analytical, and ready to add value at every turn.

What you'll do:

• Manage and expand a portfolio of SME clients.

• Review financial statements and advise on improvement opportunities.

• Act as the main point of contact for clients on all financial, fiscal, and strategic questions.

• Supervise and coach assistant accountants in your team.

• Collaborate closely with tax advisors, auditors, and other specialists to deliver integrated advice.

• Contribute to the further growth and professionalization of the firm.

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy/Finance.

• Professional membership - CA(SA), etc.

• Minimum 3 years accounting experience in a similar role within accountancy, working at an accounting or bookkeeping firm (not auditing firm). 

• Experience of preparing annual statements for SME clients.

• Current/recent experience working / managing portfolios of your SME clients is essential. 

• You're analytically strong and can translate figures into practical advice.

• You enjoy working directly with clients and building long-term relationships.

• You're proactive, commercially minded, and not afraid to challenge the status quo.

• You are fluent in English and Afrikaans (Dutch is an added bonus).
