Technical specialist - High voltage Engineer

Are you a technical professional with a passion for innovation, measurement systems, and high-voltage engineering? We are looking for a High Voltage Technical Specialist to play a key role in a high-voltage laboratory in the Netherlands, contributing to a stable and sustainable global energy future.
What you will do
In this role, you will act as the technical conscience of the High Voltage Laboratory (HVL). Your expertise will support testing, research, and continuous improvement of critical transformer technology.
Key responsibilities include:
Designing and developing innovative measurement methods for transformer systems.
Acting as the link between the laboratory, R&D, engineering, and production.
Leading and supporting technical improvement projects.
Sharing knowledge and training colleagues to strengthen the team.
Analyzing failures, conducting measurements, and assisting with complex tests.
Representing the company at national and international conferences and working groups.
Proactively identifying and implementing process, product, and safety improvements

Function criteria
A completed technical degree at Bachelor’s or Master’s level (Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, or Instrumentation).
Demonstrable knowledge of high-voltage engineering and transformers.
Experience in measurements, data analysis, and troubleshooting.
A collaborative team player who enjoys sharing knowledge and inspiring others.
Strong analytical and results-driven mindset with a passion for detail and innovation.
Fluency in English
