    Company profile

The client is a growing Dutch energy company focused on the development and operation of geothermal heat projects. Founded in 2018, the business was built by an experienced leadership team with a strong background in delivering technically complex, large-scale energy projects.

The company is currently in an active growth phase. It already operates three geothermal doublets, has several new projects in development, and is also looking to expand its portfolio through acquisitions.

Its focus is on providing sustainable heat to customers across greenhouse horticulture, the built environment and industrial applications. This includes both the geothermal heat sources themselves and the wider heat infrastructure needed to bring that energy to end users.

With a combination of technical expertise, operational experience and a strong project-development capability, the business is working to scale geothermal energy as a reliable and commercially viable alternative to conventional heating.

    Function criteria

    • A completed university degree in Engineering

    • A minimum of 15 years’ experience with an Operator within either the upstream oil & gas or geothermal industry.

    • Demonstrable experience as a Production Technologist within an upstream oil & gas or geothermal operator environment.

    • Significant practical experience with Electrical Submersible Pumps (ESPs), including areas such as teardowns, installation and application design.

    • Experience managing well integrity according to ISO 16530 principles.

    • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills and the ability to work effectively across multiple technical disciplines.

    • Excellent technical writing skills, with the ability to translate complex technical issues into clear, actionable information and recommendations.
