Platform Engineer

As a Platform Engineer, you’ll be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable, cloud-native platforms that power complex applications in production environments.

You’ll play a key role in:

• Managing and optimizing Kubernetes and Docker-based environments

• Automating infrastructure using tools like Terraform, Helm, and Ansible

• Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GitLab, Jenkins)

• Ensuring system security, resilience, and performance

• Collaborating with developers, architects, and testers to streamline delivery and operations

Among other things, our client ensures that they continue to innovate and optimize collaborations with other (government) institutions. 5+ years of experience in platform or infrastructure engineering

Proven experience with:

• Kubernetes, Docker, Linux

• Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform, Ansible, Helm)

• CI/CD automation (e.g. GitLab CI, Jenkins)

• Cloud platforms (preferably Azure, but AWS/GCP is also welcome)

• Strong understanding of networking, monitoring, and security best practices

• A collaborative, proactive mindset with excellent English communication skills

Nice to have:

• Experience with SRE principles, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps

• Background in regulated or high-availability environments
