Senior Electrical Engineer

Location: Veldhoven Noord - Brabant Netherlands

You will do this as a Senior Electrical Engineering Engineer.

• As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you are responsible for engineering various building-related electrical installations at the client project location in Veldhoven. We have been a permanent partner for many years, and together with other parties, we realised interdisciplinary new construction and renovation projects for this customer. You work on various projects in both the utility and light industries and ensure that engineering issues are addressed in a thorough manner.

• The composition of the engineering team changes depending on the project's size and complexity. Due to this changing composition, you work with various fellow engineers from other disciplines and Equans regions and ensure coordination between the different disciplines within the project.

Your tasks and responsibilities include:

• The engineering of complete electrical installations includes energy distribution, emergency power, light, and low-voltage installations.

• You are responsible for the concepts and the detailed development and advise colleagues in the implementation department where necessary.

• Translating the wishes of the (internal) customer into concrete designs in the field of electrical installations

• Ensure you and your design team create a final design that meets the customer's wishes, quality standards and legal and regulatory requirements.

• You have a keen eye for sustainability, feasibility and ease of maintenance.

• You also take the customer's project and maintenance costs into account.

• HBO working and thinking level within electrical engineering

• 5 years of work experience as an electrical engineer and knowledge of standard electrical engineering disciplines

• You are aware of the current state of affairs in the field of NEN1010

• You are familiar with cable calculations (INTELEC)

• You have good communication skills, have a good command of the Dutch language and work efficiently together

• You are flexible and can quickly switch between different projects down to the detail level
