Quality Director

As the Quality Director, you will be responsible for leading, managing, and strengthening the entire Quality function within the organisation. This includes:

• Owning and managing the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) across all departments

• Ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 and related quality, environmental and safety frameworks

• Leading audits, inspections, certification processes and internal quality governance

• Managing root-cause analyses, corrective and preventive actions, and customer complaint processes

• Driving continuous improvement across engineering, production, assembly, test and service teams

• Coaching and guiding quality professionals on the shop floor and within technical departments

• Partnering closely with senior leadership to ensure quality strategy aligns with company goals

• Acting as the main internal and external authority on quality matters

• This is a highly influential role where your decisions directly shape product reliability, client satisfaction, and overall operational excellence.

A Master’s degree in Engineering or a closely related technical field.
10+ years of senior-level experience in Quality Management within a manufacturing environment (heavy industry, electrotechnical, energy, or complex production strongly preferred)

Deep knowledge of ISO, IEC and IEEE standards, with strong proficiency in:

• Six Sigma

• APQP

• FMEA

• Lean principles

Proven experience leading quality functions in multi-site or highly complex manufacturing environments.
Strong communication and influencing skills, supported by a strategic, solution-driven mindset.

Highly advantageous certifications such as:

• CQE (Certified Quality Engineer)

• Six Sigma Black Belt

• ISO Lead Auditor

• NACE or FROSIO

Fluency in English and willingness to learn Dutch.
Willingness to relocate to the Netherlands.
