    Installation coordinator BIM Multidisciplinary

    Senior plus (10 - 20 yrs)

    Based in Veldhoven Noord - Brabant Netherlands

    Due to our projects' increasing complexity and size in the South of the Netherlands, we are looking for an enthusiastic Installation Coordinator for BIM Multidisciplinary.     You will work in the driven engineering team of the South Netherlands. The team is characterized by a good and open atmosphere. You are never alone because together, we build beautiful and challenging projects.

    This is what you will do as a BIM Multidisciplinary Installation Coordinator.   

    • You have a versatile and challenging job as a BIM Multidisciplinary Installation Coordinator. You work in an integral multidisciplinary engineering team that includes mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, automation, and construction. With this team, you will work on large interdisciplinary projects between €50,000,000 and €250,000,000, with an average duration of 1 year.

    • With your knowledge of installation technology and construction, you carry out cross-disciplinary coordination and ensure good coordination between the various disciplines. So you are the key to the team about the spatial model, the architectural elements, and the installations. You can specify architectural facilities based on sketch designs, which a BIM modeller incorporates into the model.  

    As a BIM Multidisciplinary Installation Coordinator, you are responsible to the design leader of the engineering team on location.

    You are also responsible daily for:

    • Making sketch designs of auxiliary steel structures required for installations

    • Management of BIM modellers who are involved in modelling auxiliary steel, structural facilities and standard openings

    • You are conducting space studies, from coarse to fine classification of installations in a building. You consider the priority of specific installations and make decisions about design changes.

    • Assessment of the 3D models for maintainability and ease of use of the installations and the feasibility of implementation. In addition, you coordinate the construction sequence with the implementation.

    • Conducting consultations with internal and external parties such as subcontractors, implementation, engineering and construction contractor

    • Checking and validating construction details about the installations and ensuring thorough administration

    • You draw up a plan and budget for coordination and monitor it.

    You also have:

    • Bachelor's Degree, working and thinking level within installation technology or construction, obtained through work experience or training in mechanical engineering or construction

    • 10 years of experience in installation technology or construction with an affinity for other field

    • Knowledge of MS Project and other office programs. Knowledge of Dalux, Solibri, Navisworks and/or Revit is an advantage

    • Good command of the Dutch language
