Application Consultant Source-2-Pay (SAP Ariba)

As an Application Consultant, you will be part of the independent team, comprising several functional application consultants, a Scrum master, and a Product Owner who oversees all SAP/Ariba systems related to source-to-pay processes.

You already have several years of experience working in an SAP environment. Workflows and processes don't intimidate you; in fact, they are a good challenge for you. You have an affinity for chain processes and are open to learning about new processes and systems. You have a sense of humor and an open-minded approach to your work. You use others' opinions to adjust your own perspective, thereby arriving at a widely accepted solution together.

The team works in the heart of the procurement chain to improve existing processes and integrate new processes into an efficiently structured SAP/Ariba landscape. In the coming years, several significant developments are on the horizon for which we could extensively use your assistance.

These include:

• Integrating procurement processes in the new Infor with our procurement process in SAP/Ariba.

• Supplier performance management.

• Development of new operational processes.

• Automation of manual tasks.

This is what you will do as an application consultant:

• IT plays a central role in all our processes and constantly evolves within the organization. From creating catalogs to guiding purchases to paying invoices, we work hard to make this happen behind the scenes. As an application consultant, you will ensure that the current SAP/Ariba landscape is further implemented within the organization.

• You will do this within the agile team, with which you develop and manage SAP/Ariba and other related systems. Together with your colleagues, you continuously improve the process. The team ensures that (internal) systems remain 'up and running' for users while keeping up with developments and innovations.

• You will collaborate with colleagues within the team and colleagues from other teams, suppliers, and user organizations.

• Resolving incidents and user queries related to applications used by various departments within the organization based on SAP/Ariba.

• Keeping up with developments in SAP/Ariba-related software and ICT.

• Contributing to the preparation and execution of ICT (renewal) projects based on specific expertise.

• Contributing, based on the architectural model, to translating functional requirements into a functional design and configuring and parameterizing the application while maintaining contact with the client(s) and/or stakeholders.

• Contributing to the translation of functional requirements into technical solutions. You will work closely with software developers or technical/functional (application) administrators.

• Contributing to improvement projects related to the assigned applications, including potential testing phases and updated application implementation.

• Knowledge of the interface between applications and infrastructure.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in managing/configuring SAP/Ariba.

• Experience working in an Agile and/or DevOps environment is a plus.

• Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented approach to managing and connecting parties.
