Oracle EBS Developer
This role
Our client is looking for an experienced Oracle EBS Developer who is much more than just a PL/SQL specialist. They are seeking a well-rounded technical professional with knowledge of system management, infrastructure, GIT/BitBucket, application management, and CI/CD automation.
In this role, you will play a key part in the full lifecycle of their Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) HR and HR Payroll applications, from building and implementation to daily operations. You’ll work on stakeholder change requests, deliver innovative solutions, and ensure smooth, stable performance of mission-critical systems.
As part of an agile environment, you will collaborate closely with fellow developers, the Product Owner, and the Scrum Master, while also engaging with colleagues beyond your immediate scrum team. Taking initiative and demonstrating ownership come naturally to you.
The EBS department consists of two dedicated teams, one focused on EBS Finance and the other on EBS HR/Payroll, including developers, testers, business analysts, and functional specialists. Together, these teams develop and maintain software solutions that serve thousands of citizens, ranging from small agile enhancements to large-scale legislative changes. Ensuring 24/7 continuity of their applications is essential to guarantee uninterrupted service and payments.
This is an opportunity to join a team of talented professionals who make a real difference. Together, they are shaping a more efficient, digital future.
About the Role
The ideal candidate has a passion for PL/SQL development and stays up to date with emerging technologies. They are curious, structured, and take pride in creating solutions that are robust, maintainable, and add value to the business. Collaboration and teamwork are second nature, and they thrive in an environment where knowledge sharing and mutual support are key.
They understand the link between technical excellence and end-user value, and they take ownership of the full application chain. You build it, you run it.
