High Voltage - Test Technician

We are looking for a High Voltage Test Technician to join a specialized laboratory team in the Netherlands.

You will be part of a highly skilled team in the Netherlands that specializes in transformer and high-voltage testing. What you will do

• Perform high-voltage and high-current tests on transformer components.

• Set up and operate advanced test equipment.

• Conduct maintenance, calibration, and improvements on test installations.

• Ensure accurate measurement results and prepare technical documentation.

• Contribute to process improvements that enhance efficiency and quality.

Within the high-voltage laboratory, a dedicated team of 14 professionals performs critical testing and quality assurance on transformer systems. The team operates in rotating shifts, maintaining precision, safety, and efficiency while driving innovation.

• A background in Electrical Engineering (MBO+/HBO or equivalent).

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a comparable technical role.

• Knowledge of energy or high-voltage technology (advantageous).

• Familiarity with measurement and control systems and the ability to diagnose issues independently.

• Strong focus on safety and compliance.

• Flexibility regarding working hours, overtime, and occasional irregular shifts.

• Ability to work at heights (up to 16 meters).

• Comfortable with analyzing test data and taking corrective action.
