Function criteria
A completed tertiary qualification in in Electrical Engineering, Control and Automation, Mechatronics or equivalent or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years work experience as a Software Engineer Industrial Automation.
Experience in PLC, HMI, and Motion programming with Mitsubishi (iQ Works), B&R (Automation studio) or Siemens (TIA Portal) is preferred.
You are flexible. You’re away from home for a longer period on a regular basis, or the client asks you to stay a bit longer: you don't mind!
You have your own projects and can advise and operate independently in these.
Knowledge of relevant standards such as machine directive and machine safety.
Your heart beats faster when thinking of mechatronics and industrial automation, preferably with motion, robotics, and vision.
Share your experience, knowledge, and insights. We would love to hear them! We do not only optimise with others, but we also like to optimise ourselves.
Communications (CC-Link, SSCNETIII/H, Profinet, OPC UA, Profibus, Modbus, Powerlink).
Affinity with programming languages such as C, C++, C#, SQL.
Good communication skills in both Afrikaans and English.
