Maintenance Engineer (Maasdam)
This role
At our clients’ production site in Maasdam, over 300 dedicated colleagues produce fresh dairy products daily, including milk, yoghurt, and quark. These high-quality products, made for their in-house brands among others, help ensure that supermarket shelves across the Netherlands are well-stocked. Annually, they process between 100 to 200 million liters of dairy. Their modern distribution center efficiently delivers these products directly to stores nationwide.
We are currently seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join their Technical Department (TD). This role involves enhancing processes, maintenance practices, and overall departmental performance.

Function criteria
To be successful as a Maintenance Engineer you bring along the following besides a dose of energy:
A completed tertiary qualification in Technical Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and/or similar (preferably engineering)
At least 2 years of relevant work experience in a comparable position within the process industry, preferably in the food industry
Knowledge and experience with Maintenance systems and methodologies, such as SAP, FMECA, TPM, RCA
Excellent communication skills in English & Afrikaans at all levels (oral and written)
You have the following personal qualities: result-oriented, initiative, analytical, stress-resistant, customer-oriented, accurate, communicative, cooperative, safety-conscious
