Infra Engineer

A completed tertiary qualification in IT or a related field.

•  3+ years of experience as an Infrastructure Engineer or in a similar role

•  Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, switching and firewall technologies

•  Experience with data center technologies including server virtualization, storage systems and backup solutions

•  Knowledge of network monitoring and diagnostic tools and Cloud computing platforms (Azure & AWS)

•  Familiarity with scripting languages

•  Knowledge of one or more of the following systems is a bonus: FortiGate, Juniper QFX, Arista, VMware (Horizon), HPE Servers, Optical Networks (WDM), Pure Storage, CEPH or Elastic Search

•  Good communication skills in both Afrikaans and English.
