As a BIM Coordinator you will join a team of talented colleagues in the Revit field where you will grow and gain exposure to many opportunities. As of BIM Coordinator you coordinate projects that are assigned to the project team in the design phase. You monitor the planning and adjust where necessary, check the quality of the work of your team and of the work outsourced to third parties.
Some of your day-to-day responsibilities:
Be the point of contact for Revit related matters within a project;
Preparing clash sessions;
Management of models on various platforms;
Supporting modelers in knowledge and skills;
Monitoring and managing standards;
Point of contact for directors;
Point of contact for management regarding Revit;
You participate in BIM/design consultations (internal and external);
You remain in contact with the external BIM supplier about project progress and techniques/materials to be applied;
You are the point of contact for Customer Advisors, Technical Specialists and external parties;
You contribute to the (technical) development of the organization, and;
Make improvement proposals to the project team and the organization

Our client’s projects department, where this role falls into, realizes regional projects that are realized with a project organization, as a rule these are projects range from € 100,000 to € 4,000,000. These include new construction and/or renovation projects, where our client will work with the latest techniques.
You have completed a relevant tertiary qualification in technology, mechanical engineering or electrical engineering, supplemented with a BIM and/or CAD diploma
You have several years of experience as a Draftsman, Engineer or Project Coordinator within installation technology and have the drive to develop in the field of BIM
You have knowledge of relevant laws and regulations
You have experience with AutoCAD, Revit and StabiCAD, among others
You have strong communication skills in both Afrikaans and English
You are enthusiastic and have a large dose of ownership
You have the will to share knowledge
